What to Expect
Our Collective meets monthly over Zoom and a few times a year in person in Portland, Oregon (for now- there may be other locations in the future, including the Netherlands, where our founder, Linda Lewis, currently resides).
The format of the meetings include a member spotlight - a pecha-kucha style presentation (see more about this presentation style here), and a group discussion about the topic of the month. We also share personal and internal projects progress and ideas. Members can share for input / critique, to ask for resource support or just to be seen. Follow our Instagram to keep up to date on the monthly theme and what to expect at the next meeting.
As we expand and grow our marketing and membership, we will be offering more paid services to clients. We get to know your skill sets and interests and what you’d like to be paid to do (whether it’s something you've been paid to do in the past or not!) Then we can match you with incoming projects and project teams
You do not need to want paid work to be a member. This is a collaborative hub to lend advice, feedback and wisdom in the monthly calls and occasional meetups if that is how you want to engage.
When we start paying members regularly for work, the membership will split into collaborators and contributors.
Collaborators will pay less than the current $20/mo. and contributors who get paid will pay in a little more.
All financials will be disclosed within our membership hub.
