From our founder, Linda Lewis:

Back in 2020, when we were all starting to go stir crazy in our houses, I looked around at my circle- wide and small- and saw just how much talent and creative power there was around me.

All different disciplines and mediums with passion for their crafts.

And then I saw a lot of those people, like me at the time, locked into positions that paid them to live but didn’t fulfill them.

I made a list of people I would invite to a Zoom call, just to share inspiration and ideas. But then we all got so very sick of Zoom and I moved to Hawaii and the idea sat on the vine.

Fast forward to September of 2023 and this name popped into my head at 2am while feeding my baby. It made me laugh. It stuck with me till morning.

It felt sparkly and silly. It felt energizing.

I pulled up my list of contacts in the morning and I added some from the past few years.

The framework came seamlessly.

I don’t know how it will evolve. I have ideas but I will always flex to what feels true in the moment.

For now, having lists of creative projects we want to start and so many talented people joining our membership, feels right.

Let’s get together and create some Magic.

• we are an online collaborative. we meet once a month over Zoom. there are in person events from time to time, mostly in Portland, Oregon

• there Is a short application to fill out so we may get to know you

• membership Is $20 per month currently. This will change as we evolve.

• each meeting will have a few members spotlighted- for intros and to share what they’re currently working on

• we’ll create a searchable directory of all members and their skill sets

• we’ll put our shingle out for creative projects from small businesses, individuals and startups

• our collective reach Is exponentially larger than any one of us could create alone

• any member who doesn’t want paid project work will act as an adviser at monthly meetings

• we'll evolve as this grows!

• one to two hours a month over zoom for ‘collaborators’ (members who don’t want paid work)

• we'll have in-person or hybrid events from time to time - quarterly at maximum

• as we bring in projects, time commitment will depend on the jobs you want to take on and are a good fit

• you need more creative outlets outside of your day job

• you want to branch out to a new medium or discipline

• you’re a freelancer who wants more collaboration

• you’re a creative business owner who wants more exposure or has skill gaps

• you enjoy supporting creatives with organization, marketing, account management, social media or web

• you like to give input on creative projects

• you wanna be apart of this idea!
